Setup your Hyperpod for the first time

This walk-through covers each step of the setup process for your Colderatti Hyperpod cold plunge.

Before turning on your cold plunge:

• Check that the water level is at least above the bottom water valve.
• Verify that the filter inside the filter canister is securely hand-tightened.
• Ensure the two water cables are properly connected to the tub.

Note: Always power the cold plunge off before unplugging it.

**Failure to follow this setup guide may damage the machine and void the warranty.

Location requirements:

• Place the Colderatti on a solid, level, waterproof surface.
• Allow at least 36 inches of clearance on the fan end for ventilation.
• If placing on a raised deck, confirm it’s rated for 2,000lbs.
• The cord is 10 ft. long, so ensure you have access to an outlet for power. If you plan to use an extension cord, use a 12-gauge cord.

Connect water lines:

*Hyperpod / Pro 2025 only – Chieftain series cold plunges require no water line connections.
• Attach sediment filter to the IN threaded inlet on Hyperchiller.
• Connect water line from Hyperchiller IN → Cold Plunge OUT (bottom port).
• Connect second line from Hyperchiller OUT → Cold Plunge IN (top port).

Connect drain/fill:

No Plumbing Setup:
To Drain:
• Connect the included hose to the top port of the automatic water pump.
• Submerge pump fully in plunge basin until it rests on the bottom.
• Route hose to drain, plug in pump. It will auto-drain and shut off.
To Fill:
• Using a garden hose, fill the tub with water until the water level reaches the top valve (the water jet).

Plumbing Setup:
• Drain valve (bottom): 3/4" GHT stainless steel thread.
• Fill valve (top): 1/2" NPT stainless steel thread.
*Please consult a licensed plumber to ensure proper installation and compliance with local codes.

Fill with Water:

If filling with hose:
• Attach carbon filter to garden hose.
• Run water until clear to flush excess carbon.
• Fill to ~7 inches below top rim.

If filling with plumbing:
• Ensure top fill valve is connected.
• Twist open water source valve and monitor fill level.

Before powering on your cold plunge:

• Ensure the two water cables are properly connected to the tub & Hyperchiller.
• The water level must be at least above the bottom water valve
• Verify the filter inside the filter canister is securely hand-tightened.

Plug In:

• After filling, plug the Hyperchiller into a standard 120V outlet. The outlet must be on a 20A dedicated circuit breaker (do not share this circuit with other appliances).
• Use only a 12-gauge extension cord if needed.

Set Temperature:

• Power on the Colderatti.
• Press and hold the up & down buttons at the same time to toggle lock/unlock.
• Press the set button (the temperature will start flashing on the control panel) and use the up/down buttons to set temperature.
• Allow system 1–2 hours to reach cold target.
