Refund policy

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This return policy is designed to protect you against significant product defects or damages that cannot be resolved through our repair or technical support process. Please note that returns are reserved for issues identified as unfixable; minor solvable issues and buyer’s remorse are not eligible for return.

Eligibility & Logistics

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and secured in its original packing crate with all internal padding. The customer is responsible for coordinating the return shipment and all related costs. Please retain your tracking number for your records.

An RGA (Return Goods Authorization) is required for all returns. To start the process and obtain an RGA, please contact us here. If your product is damaged or defective at the time of receipt, please contact us here.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Documentation: You must provide proof of purchase and clear images of all sides of the unit, including the interior, both before packing (to verify product condition) and once it is secured in its original packaging (to verify packing integrity).
  • Restocking Fee: A 30% restocking fee and a 3% non-refundable transaction fee will be deducted from your refund. If you opt for an exchange, the restocking fee may be waived.
  • Packaging Warning: If the original crate or adequate padding is not used, or if the unit is damaged during transit due to poor packaging, additional fees will apply. Replacement packing kits are available for purchase upon request.

Damages and issues

We have a master craftsman personally inspect the quality of every tub and run through a checklist with each temperature unit and plunge tub. We take pride in our quality control process, and in the products we ship to you. Please contact us immediately if upon receiving the order, the item is damaged, or if you have any other concerns, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. We do not process returns for custom items. Any modification beyond a base cold plunge configuration (as shown on our website at standard MSRP) is considered custom and non-returnable. All warranties still apply—only the 30-day return policy is waived for custom builds.

If you have a cold+hot plunge tub that has been used, it is not returnable after the 30-day return window. Our warranty covers all defects or manufacturer issues, and in the case of any issues after the 30-day return window, but during the warranty period, we will quickly authorize a repair, or exchange, or anything needed to make sure your product meets our 100% quality and satisfaction guarantee.

Surface staining, corrosion, and other cosmetic issues are not covered under warranty and are not refundable. These issues are cosmetic, often reversible, and fully preventable by using our stainless steel care kit and following our care guidelines.

Please note, we do not process refunds for buyer’s remorse. If you regret your purchase and are returning it without any defect or issue, a 30% restocking fee will apply, and you will be responsible for return shipping.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on limited sale items or gift cards.

Active Order Status (Orders Before Delivery)

48 hours after an order is placed, it becomes classified an Active Order. At this stage, we begin allocating significant resources—preparation, materials, and labor—to fulfill your order. We do not accept cancellations of Active Orders unless there is a verified issue such as a duplicate order. Cancellation requests due to change of mind or personal preference will incur a 30% order processing fee. If the order has not shipped, no return shipping costs will apply. If it has shipped, applicable return shipping costs will also be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

We may authorize exchanges at any point during the warranty period if our support team cannot first resolve the issue, or in the case of any defects or manufacturer issues. To start an exchange, contact us here. Once an exchange is approved, we will schedule a pickup of the original unit. A replacement unit will be shipped after the original has been collected by the carrier. The original unit remains the property of Colderatti. If it is not returned, we may charge the full price of the unit and/or pursue legal action to recover the unit, including any associated costs.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. All returns are subject to a mandatory technical inspection and forensic evaluation by our engineering team to verify the unit’s condition and the root cause of any issues. Any damage incurred while the unit was in the customer’s possession – including but not limited to improper electrical use and inadequate return packaging – is the sole responsibility of the customer. The documented cost of restoring the unit to its original factory condition will be deducted from the final refund in addition to the 30% restocking fee. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. All refunds are subject to a 3% non-refundable transaction fee, which is in addition to any applicable restocking or shipping fees.
