The Colderatti Hyperchiller is the #1 fastest chiller unit of any at-home cold plunge.
Once cooled, the Colderatti will hold water temperature for 24+ hours and takes only ~20 to 30 minutes to cool back down to cold plunge temperature (below 40ºF). Initially, on average, the Colderatti takes ~1 hr to cool the water from room temperature (70°F) to 50°F.
The heating time is also the shortest with the Colderatti Hyperchiller (our most powerful heating unit yet). It takes ~1.5 hrs to heat the water from 70ºF to 104ºF, and ~2.5hrs to heat from 40ºF to 104ºF (full cycle).
The best way to keep your water clean:
1) Use our sanitizing mineral salt blend
2) Keep the chiller on often (4-8hrs/day). The more the filter is on, the more the water cycles though the built-in filter and UV sanitizer.
2) Empty and replace your tub with fresh water every 3-4 weeks.
We offer a supplemental natural sanitizing salt for your tub. Add 1 full bag of salt initially, then add 4-6oz every week to keep the salt content high enough to maintain its disinfectant properties.
If you make a habit or rinsing off before your ice bath, the water will stay clean and clear longer. If you use your tub straight after the gym, then it's better to replace the tub with new fresh water every 2-3 weeks, or if the water starts to become cloudy
The Colderatti (both cold and heat version) can be plugged into a standard 110V outlet. The moment it is shipped to your home, it is ready to be filled up and plugged in. No additional wiring or setting up necessary. We recommend using an isolated 15A circuit (an outlet that does not share other appliances on the same breaker).
Four easy steps:
1. Fill the Colderatti tub with water up to 4-6 inches from the top. Water from a hose is usually easiest.
2. Set the temperature on the chiller via the LCD or by using the mobile app. Connection steps are included with your package. If it's your first time, we recommend 55º for 3 minutes to begin.
3. Get in, lean back, and submerge up to your neck. Focus on breathing and let your body naturally adapt to the shock of the cold temperature. The first 30 seconds is always the most challenging.
4. After 3 minutes, get out. Try doing a light stretching routine to get your circulation going. We recommend repeating at least 3-5 days a week for the best results.
The Colderatti Hyperchiller is designed with the highest safety standards in mind. All water pipes and electrical components in our system are fully waterproofed and independently insulated to ensure complete isolation between the water and electrical components.
This dual-layer protection means that there is no contact between water and electrical elements. Additionally, the system is equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), which automatically shuts off the power if it detects any irregularities in the electrical current, ensuring maximum protection against any electrical risk.
Furthermore, all wiring and electrical components are electrical grade and specially designed to operate in water based environments, and are thoroughly tested to meet strict industry safety regulations. The Hyperchiller is designed to be completely safe in wet conditions.
The Colderatti Chiller Units are all custom made to order. We start designing your Colderatti immediately after it's ordered, and after we finish, we pass it to our master craftsmen for careful inspection.
Your tub is ready to ship within 3-4 weeks (Domestic only - Lower 48 U.S. States). Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders vary - please speak to an agent via our live chat, or contact us at support@nordicacoldtubs.com for more information.
A 1-Year warranty is included with every Colderatti cold + hot tub. The warranty covers all material and workmanship defects to the tub or any components within the specified period (1 year). Read the full warranty policy here.
1) Connect the included drain hose to the drain valve in the bottom corner of the tub. Connect any standard garden hose to the drain hose to extend its length, if necessary, and drain outside.
The length of time for each session will vary depending on the temperature and comfort level of the individual.
But in order to get all the benefits of cold water immersion in your routine, we recommend to get in the ice bath for 3-8 minutes at 58ºF or colder.
Try: Starting at 60ºF for 4 minutes, then slowly reducing the temperature by 2-3ºF each session. 50-55ºF for 3-4 minutes is perfect to feel great during and after a Colderatti cold tub session.
