The Chieftain features a Hyperchiller™ water chiller seamlessly built-in to the cold plunge. The fastest cooling technology of any standalone cold plunge.
Once cooled, Chieftain will hold water temperature for 24+ hours and takes minutes to cool down to below 40ºF cold plunge temperature. Initially after a water fill, Chieftain takes ~1 hr to cool the water from room temperature (70°F) to 50°F.
The rapid heating takes ~1.5 hrs to heat the water from 70ºF to 104ºF, and ~2.5hrs to heat from 40ºF to 104ºF (full cycle).
The Hyperchiller has a powerful automatic water purification system that does all the hard work for you.
The best way to keep your water clean:
1) Keep the chiller on often (4-8hrs/day). The more the filter is on, the more the water cycles though the built-in filter and ozone sanitizer.
2) Use 2-4oz Colderatti water clarifier (included) per day to maintain clear water and lengthen water replacement cycles.
3) Empty and replace your tub with fresh water once per month.

The Chieftain can be plugged into a standard 120V outlet. The moment it is shipped to you, it is ready to be filled up and plugged in. No additional wiring or setting up necessary. We recommend using an isolated 15A circuit (an outlet that does not share other appliances on the same breaker).
1. Fill the Colderatti tub with water up to 7 inches from the top. Water from a hose is usually easiest.
2. Set the temperature on the chiller with the LCD control panel or via the mobile app. App connection steps are included with your package or available here.
3. Easy access filter via the side panel makes filter changes and maintenance simple and easy.
Connect the drain hose to the drain valve in the bottom corner of the tub and drain to water drainage.
